Body Butter

The star of our body butter is the gorgeous fair trade organic shea butter which is sourced from a native Ghanaian woman-owned small business Shea Growers Africa. This special butter is hand made in Ghana by a collective of self employed farmers who have guaranteed fair wages and safe working conditions, using an ancient process which has been honed over centuries.

To make our body butter truly unique and luxurious, we combine the exquisite shea butter with carefully and sustainably sourced organic fair trade kokum and mango butters, organic fair trade virgin coconut and sweet almond oils, and a touch of organic arrowroot powder. The butters are then whipped to perfection using a secret method - making them thick and creamy, yet lightweight and silky and will leave you feeling nourished, soft and moisturized but not greasy.

Because our body butters are made with no added fillers, just full-fat butters and oils, they have the capacity to deeply hydrate, but may also melt in transit due to high temperatures. For that reason, they are only available once a year. When stored and used properly, each tin can last 12 months, so I encourage you to stock up now to make sure you have enough to last you all year.
